FANUC M-20ia/10L Overview
The FANUC M-20ia/10L industrial robots are designed for automated assembly, robotic packaging, and automated material handling applications. This articulated robot can also be used in robotic welding scenarios similar to the FANUC Arc Mate 120ic/10L The M-20IA 10L is a longer reach six axis robot with servo driven motors. The FANUC M20ia/10L is available in the FANUC R30ia and FANUC R-30ib controllers. The robotic manipulator part number for this model is A05B-1222-B302. While similar to its predecessor the FANUC M-16ib/10L, the M 20ia/10L is a hollow wrist robot allowing for an internal cables, creating greater flexibility, durability and motion range. The wrist and J3 of this FANUC industrial robot arm carries an waterproof rating of UP67 under the normal specifications. In addition, the M-20ia 10L has a reach that is comparable to the FANUC M-710ic/50 Robot.Applications that do not require as much reach can use the standard FANUC M-20ia. For applications that require a longer reach and payload, the FANUC M-710ic/50 or the M-710ic/20L would lkely be good choices. This factory robot is similar in reach and payload to the Yaskawa HP20D-6, ABB IRB 2600-12, and the KUKA KR16/L6.
