FANUC M-16ib/10L Overview

The FANUC M-16ib/10L robotic manipulator is designed for robotic assembly and automated dispensing applications. This extended reach robot is as reliable as the FANUC M-16iB, however has a longer reach and lower payload. The M-16iB-10L offers significant flexiblity in applications as the has the same structure and build as the FANUC Arcmate 120ib/10L. This articulated robot is the predecessor to the advanced FANUC M20ia/10L.

The M-16ib 10L is a six axis robot with servo driven motors. The FANUC M16ib/10L is available in the FANUC RJ3IB, FANUC R-J3IC and FANUC R30ia controllers. The part number for the R-30ia version robot manipulator is A05B-1216-B502. Applications requiring a longer reach should use the FANUC M-710ic/20L. This industrial robot is similar in reach and payload to the ABB 2600-12, KUKA KR16, and Motoman HP20-6. Due to minimal work envelope and commonality in the market, the M 16ib 10L is a economical industrial robot arm that can be used in a variety of applications.
