FANUC R-J3IC Controller

FANUC R-J3IC Controller Overview

The FANUC R-J3IC controller is an advanced industrial robot controller that is available in the A-cabinet, B-cabinet, and Mate cabinet styles. The RJ3IC controller has the same properties and features as the FANUC R30ia controller. The controller was produced anywhere from 2006 to 2009. Around 2010, the FANUC R-J3IC controller was replaced in name by the FANUC R-30ia controller. Larger FANUC robots such as the FANUC M-710ic/50 RJ3IC use the B-cabinet style due to larger servo amplier (FANUC A06B-6107-H002) that the robot requires. Smaller robots like the FANUC M16ib can use either the A or B cabinet style. The FANUC RJ3IC has improved motion and applicaton performance over the R-J3IB controller. The RJ3IC controller allows for the addition of 2D and 3D vision systems for enhanced capabilities. The enhanced vibration controller allows the robot to accelerate and decelerate faster, reducing cycle times. The R-J3IC controller runs on the FANUC operating system which includes quick start up times as well as increased security. Not only can the R/J3IC control multiple robots, but it can also control up to 40 FANUC motor based axes at one time. The controller also offers built in Ethernet, dual check safety, collision detection, and servo monitoring. Additional options include Devicenet and CClink. Used FANUC R-J3IC robots are a great way to integrate advanced technology into your application at a greatly reduced cost.
