FANUC M-710ic/50 Overview
The FANUC M-710IC/50 robot is designed for automated assembly, robotic packaging, and material handling applications. The M 710ic/50 is a six axis robot with servo driven motors. The FANUC M710ic/50 is available in the FANUC RJ3IC, FANUC R-30IA, and FANUC R-30ib controllers. The M710ic 50 is one of the most versatile FANUC robots available, capable of foundry and automated water jet cutting applications. With a 50KG payload, the M710ic-50 can be integrated with a heavy end of arm tooling giving greater flexibility in material handling and automated machine loading applications. Integrating a used FANUC M710ic into an application is a great way to maximize production. This FANUC robot is somewhat unique in that it features a standard IP rating of 67, allowing it to operate in harsh conditions.The mechanical unit part number for this articulated robot is A05B-1226-B201. The controller for the R-30ia version of this six axis robot has a part number of A05B-2510-B150. Robot applications requiring a longer reach should utilize the M-710ic/20L or one of the R-2000ib Series robots. Applications that require less reach would be better suited using a M-20ia due to its lower cost and smaller work envelope. The higher payload M-710ic/70 is also avaible. This articulated robot is similar in payload and reach to the Motoman MH50, ABB IRB 4600 and the KUKA KR60-3. Additional applications that this robot can perform include automated grinding, robotic deburring, and cutting.
