FANUC Arcmate 100iBe Overview
The FANUC ArcMate 100ibe industrial robot is used in welding automation, automated plasma cutting, and robotic plasma welding applications. This robotic welder is part of the FANUC ArcMate Series robots. While generally very similar, the Arcmate 100ibe has an increased motion range over the FANUC ArcMate 100ib. The FANUC AM 100ibe also has a controller integrated into the base of the arm, decreasing the need for floor space. This six axis robot is used in many robotic welding scenarios because it is both reliable and economical. The Arcmate 100ibe is a more compact robot allowing for a smaller work envelope than the ArcMate 120ibe.The FANUC Arc mate 100ibe is available in the FANUC R-J3IB, FANUC R-J3IC and FANUC R-30ia controllers. This FANUC welding robot is the predecessor to the popular FANUC Arcmate 100ic. If the welding application requiries a longer reach, the Arcmate 120ic or FANUC M710ic/20L might be a better choice. This welding robot can alos be used in handling applications such as robotic assembly. Purchasing a FANUC robot such as the Arcmate 100ibe can significantly increase productivity at a relatively low cost.
