FANUC Arcmate 100iC Overview
The FANUC Arc Mate 100ic robot is designed for welding automation, robotic welding, and robotic plasma welding applications. This FANUC Arc Mate is used in many robotic welding scenarios due to its flexibility and reliability. The ArcMate 100ic is a six axis industrial robot with servo driven motors. The FANUC Arcmate 100ic is available in the FANUC R30ia and FANUC R30ib controllers. With the capability to perform MIG and TIG welding, the 100ic is a viable choice for most welding applications that do not require a long reach. Buying an industrial robot such as a used Arcmate 100 ic can maximize the value of your investment. This FANUC welding robot has the same mechanical design as the M10ia allowing it to perform material handling applications such as robotic assembly.Applications requiring more reach and payload can utilize the larger FANUC Arcmate 120ic instead of the 100ic. Welding applications requiring a shorter reach can cut costs by using Arcmate 50id/7L. The Lincoln Powerwave i400 and r350 are commonly integrated with this robot to be used as a automated tig welding machine. The mechanical unit part number for R-30ia version of this robot arm is A05B-1221-B401. The part number for the R-30ib controller paired with this robot is A05B-2611-B022. This articulated robot can also be integrated with Fronius, Miller, or Hypertherm welding sources in order to weld aluminum or perform automated plasma cutting applications. This Arcmate robot is similar in reach and payload to the ABB IRB 1600, Motoman HP6, and KUKA KR 6.
