FANUC Arc Mate 100iC/6L Overview
The FANUC Arc mate 100ic/6L is the longer reach version of the Arcmate 100ic. The FANUC Arc Mate 100ic/6L robot is designed for robotic arc welding, automated MIG welding, and automated TIG welding. The size of the 100ic 6L make this used industrial robot optimal for smaller work envelope situations that also require a good reach. The ArcMate 100ic-6L has a hollow wrist allowing for integrated welding cables. This used FANUC robot is available in the R30ia and R30ib controller. The part number for both the R30ia and R30ib versions of this robot is A05B-1221-B501. With the flexibility of integrating different types of robotic welders, this is a viable choice for most robotic welding applications. This FANUC welding robot is typically integrated with a welding power source such as the Lincoln Powerwave i400. This six axis robot can also be integrated with a Miller Auto Axcess 450-di robotic welder. The reach and payload on this used articulated robot is similar to the Motoman MA1400, ABB 1600, and KUKA KR 16. For welding automation that requires a longer reach, the FANUC Arcmate 120ic should be utilized instead. Shorter reach applications can use the standard FANUC Arcmate 100ic. Purchasing a used FANUC 100ic 6L robot can lower the costs of production. This robot has the same mechanical structure as the M-10ia/6L and can be converted to perform robotic assembly and automated pick and place applications.
