KUKA KR 360

KUKA KR360 Overview

The KUKA KR360 is a versatile and robust industrial robot. The KR/360 is built to handle heavy lifting with a standard payload capacity of 360 kg. Its extended reach of 2826 mm allows it to cover larger workspaces. Its work envelope can be further expanded with the ability to install the K-R/360 on a linear robotic track. This robot can also be floor or ceiling mounted making it adaptable to a number of production lines. This robot is similar in reach and payload to the FANUC M-900ia/350, Motoman UP350N, and ABB IRB 7600-340/2.80.

The 6-axis articulated KUKA K/R360 is available in palletizing, machine press, and foundry options. The palletizing option provides an expanded payload capacity of up to an additional 90 kg and features specialized palletizing software. The machine press option provides an additional 675 mm of reach and a slim wrist design to bridge large machine gaps and to easily reach into presses. The foundry option upgrades the KR 360 to be IP67 rated for dust and liquid protection. The foundry option also includes a heat-resistant coating for reliable operation in hazardous conditions. Additional applications covered by the KUKA Kr360 include material handling, packaging, and spot welding.

The KR.360 pairs with the KR C2 PC based controller and KCP teach pendant. This controller features Windows software for a user-friendly interface and simplified programming.
