FANUC M-410ic/185 Overview
The FANUC M-410iC/185 is a 4-axis robot designed specifically for robotic palletizing. It is also capable of handling robotic assembly, automated pick and place, and robotic parts transfer processes. This robot features a reach of 3,143 mm and a payload capacity of 185 kg, making it capable of palletizing heavy workloads. The FANUC M410iC/185 increases throughput with its high speed operation. High allowable wrist movements and inertia make the M-410iC-185 capable of operating at its maximum speed and maximum payload simultaneously. The hollow wrist design of the M-410iC/185 makes for easy EOAT wiring and the ability to integrate a servo driven robot gripper. Palletizing in confined spaces is possible with the M410iC-185 due to its slim arm, making it optimal for those with limited space, another benefit of automation. This robotic palletizing system can palletize at higher speeds than similar six axis robots.
There are two base options are available with this palletizing robot. For those with an elevated work envelope, the M/410iC-185 can be placed on a pedestal to raise its height. A compact base option is available for those with limited ceiling space or for integration into a pre-existing robotic system.
The M/410iC/185 is paired with FANUC’s intelligent R-30iB and R-30ib plus controllers. FANUC’s robot vision is available as an option for integration with the m-410ic/185 for enhanced robot guidance. While very similar to its predecessor the M-410ib/160, this palletizing robot has a higher payload and lighter mechanical weight, allowing for a slight reduction in cycle times. This FANUC robot is similar in payload and reach to the Motoman EPl 160, ABB 460, and KUKA KR100-PA.
