Yaskawa Motoman MA3100 Overview
The Yaskawa Motoman MA3100 is an extremely long reach industrial robot designed for arc welding applications. The Yaskawa MA3100 is available with the powerful Motoman DX100 controller. Using the Yaskawa DX100 controller this robot can operate alongside additional robots in workcells. The MA-3100 has similar composition to the Yaskawa MH50-20 with a lower payload due to the extended reach. This industrial robot is similar in payload and reach to the FANUC M-710ic/20L and the ABB IRB 4400/L30. This Yaskawa robot is the successor to the very popular Motoman HP50-20. The increased reach allows for this used welding robot to have maximum flexibility in welding applications. In addition to MIG welding and TIG welding, the Motoman MA-3100 robot can be outfitted with a cold metal transfer (CMT), such as a Fronius CMT4000, or a plasma welding source.
