Yaskawa Motoman GP8

Yaskawa GP8 Overview

The Yaskawa Motoman GP8 is a high speed and compact multipurpose robot. The GP-8 offers a 8 kg maximum payload capacity and six axes. Its horizontal reach extends to 727 mm while its vertical reach extends to 1,312 mm. This articulated robot along with the GP7 features the highest payload, highest allowable wrist movement, and fastest speed in its class. The Yaskawa Motoman GP/8 is ideal for automating high speed assembly, machine tending, material handling, pick and place, packaging, and part transfer applications.

The Yaskawa Motoman GP.8 is perfect for operating in sanitary or harsh work environments as it comes standard with an IP67 rating. The gp8 is also ideal for operating in facilities with limited space. Its compact size and slim arm design means it can be installed in confined work areas as its small footprint helps to avoid interference from peripherals. The Yaskawa Motoman G-P8 can be paired with either the Yaskawa YRC1000 or the YRC1000mirco controllers. This robotic manipulator is similar in reach and payload to the FANUC M-10ia, ABB IRB 1600, and the KUKA KR10 R1100.
