Yaskawa Motoman GP4

Yaskawa GP4 Overview

The Yaskawa Motoman GP4 is the smallest robot in the GP series. Despite its compact size, the GP-4 offers a wide work envelope. The Yaskawa Motoman GP/4 is an excellent alternative to SCARA robots with its incredibly fast speed. The Yaskawa Motoman GP 4 can reach axis speeds of up to 1,000 degrees per second. This articulated robot is ideal for automating high volume assembly, machine tending, material handling, and packaging applications.

The Yaskawa Motoman GP.4 features a light payload of 4 kg and is a six axis robot. It has a maximum horizontal reach of 550 mm and a vertical reach of 1,008 mm. The gp4 can be paired with Yaskawa Motoman’s YRC1000 and YRC1000micro controllers. This robotic manipulator comes standard with an IP67 rating making it perfect for sanitary or harsh work environments. The compact footprint of the Yaskawa Motoman G-P4 requires minimal installation space and allows for multiple factory robots to be installed in close proximity without interference. This industrial robot arm is similar in reach and payload to the FANUC LR Mate 200id/7L, KUKA KR6 R900, and ABB IRB 1200.
