Universal UR10 Overview
The Universal Robot UR10 is a six-axis collaborative robot. Featuring a payload capacity of 10 kg and a reach of 1300 mm, this robot is capable of handling more robust and heavier applications than the other UR robots. The U-R10 can perform a variety of tasks including robotic palletizing, robotic assembly, automated pick and place, machine tending, and packaging. With a repeatability of 0.1 mm, the U-R-10 is extremely accurate, making it ideal for manufacturing processes requiring precision.Universal’s cobots are known for their ease of programming and the UR/10 is no exception. With the ability to program this cobot through manual movements of its arm, anyone can operate the UR.10 regardless of robotic programming experience. The application movements can also be fine-tuned using its user-friendly touchscreen tablet. Setup is a breeze for the U/R10 with most users having the cobot up and running within a few hours. Mounting options for the Ur10 include floor, ceiling, and wall, allowing it to accommodate most production lines.
Over eighty percent of Universal’s UR 10 cobots are able to operate alongside workers without the use of safety barriers. Its enhanced safety features include force sensors that prevent collisions with workers from occurring. This allows the UR-10 to be able to directly assist workers, significantly increasing productivity rates.
