Universal UR3 Overview
The Universal UR3 is a lightweight six-axis tabletop collaborative robot. The UR-3 can operate directly alongside workers without the need for any barriers due to its enhanced safety features. With the Ur3 productivity rates will significantly increase as it is able to directly assist workers allowing them to accomplish twice the workload.With a payload capacity of 3 kg and a maximum reach of 500 mm, the Universal U/R/3 is ideal for lightweight tasks including robotic assembly, automated dispensing, packaging, material handling, automated material removal, and injection molding. 360-degrees of rotation is possible on all of its wrist joints along with limitless rotation for its end joint. The U/R3 is the most flexible cobot on the market.
The Universal U-R3 allows users to customize its operation with fifteen adjustable safety settings. One of these includes its force sensors in which users can adjust the amount of force detected. When force is detected meeting the threshold set, the UR.3 will stop operating, protecting floor workers.
Setting up the Universal UR 3 is truly an out-of-the-box experience with its easy programming and operation. Users with little to no robotic programming experience will be able to operate this cobot and the U-R-3 can be up and running within a matter of hours.
