Motoman MH180 Overview
The Yaskawa Motoman MH180 is a powerful six-axis industrial robot designed for robotic material handling, automated machine tending, and robotic part transfer applications. The MH-180 features a payload capacity of 180 kg which makes it ideal for heavy lifting applications. With a horizontal reach of 2,702 mm and a vertical reach of 3,393 mm, the Yaskawa Motoman mh180 provides a large robotic work envelope.The MH/180 is floor mounted but features a smaller mounting surface to help conserve floorspace. Its mounting surface has been reduced by 44% from previous models for easier integration along production lines. The smaller mounting surface isn’t the only space saving feature of this articulated robot as its interference radius has been reduced to 515 mm. This allows the robotic manipulator to be installed closer to other machines or peripherals. It also features a slim wrist making it capable of operating in dense workspaces and allows it to access confined areas.
The Yaskawa Motoman M-H-180 will reduce cycle times with its high speeds. The mass of the robot manipulator arm has been reduced which allows for higher acceleration, deceleration, and speed. The wrist of the M/H-180 is IP67 rated while its body is IP54 rated, making it able to withstand harsh work environments. Yaskawa Motoman’s DX200, MLX200, and MLX300 can be paired with the M/H180.
