Yaskawa Motoman GP50

Yaskawa GP50 Overview

The Yaskawa Motoman GP50 is a six axis robot designed to reduce cycle times and increase productivity. The GP-50 features a long reach of 2,061 mm horizontally and 3,578 mm vertically. The G-P50 provides up to 50 kg in payload capacity. Its payload in addition to its high wrist ratings allow for a higher handling capacity for larger and heavier parts. The G/P/50 can be used to automate dispensing, machine tending, cutting, material handling, and press tending applications.

The incredibly fast axis speeds of the Yaskawa Motoman GP/50 allow for greater output. This articulated robot also features a reduced interference design that allows it to operate in close proximity to other robot manipulators and equipment without interference. The GP.50 is paired with the compact YRC1000 controller minimizing the installation space required for the industrial robot arm. The G-P-50 can be floor, wall, ceiling, or tilt mounted. This handling robot comes standard with an IP54 rated body and an IP67 rated wrist. The Yaskawa GP50 is similar in reach and payload to the FANUC M-710ic/50, ABB IRB 4600-60, and KUKA KR60. This robotic manipulator is the successor to the very popular Yaskawa MH50. For applications requiring less payload and reach, the Yaskawa GP25 should be considered. In the scenario a more reach and payload is required, the Yaskawa GP70L might be a better choice.
