The M-10ia R-30ia yields the fastest speeds, most compact work envelope and lightest robot mass of the 3 robot models. The M-20ia R30ia has the greatest motion range, while the used FANUC M-710ic/50 R30ia has the lowest repeatability, highest payload, and highest robot mass of the 3 industrial robots. Both the FANUC M10ia and FANUC M20ia have hollow wrists that allow for cable integration. All three models are viable choices for most robotic applications, however if the work envelope is an issue, the FANUC M-10ia and FANUC M-20ia are much smaller than the FANUC M-710ic 50. If high speed will increase productivity while payload isn’t an issue, the M10ia is a good choice. Generally, the M10ia will also be the most economical because it is smaller than the other 2 robots. If there is the potential that the robot will be used in a foundry application, the FANUC M710ic/50 R30ia is the only option that can handle that. If the robot might be repurposed in the future, the used FANUC M20ia provides more flexibility than the used FANUC M10ia due to the increased payload, while not giving up too much speed. All three used robots will help maximize production of your application, increasing profitability. These three robots have very similar capabilities to new FANUC robots, therefore integrating a used FANUC robot can provide a substantially higher return on investment without giving up much, if any, performance
