ABB IRB 6700-235/2.65 Overview

The ABB IRB 6700-235/2.65 is a heavy payload industrial robot that is used in spot welding applications. This ABB material handling robot is commonly found in the Foundry Plus Version allowing it to operate longer and more effeciently in tough conditions. This ABB robot has a shorter cycle time, longer reach, reduced energy consumption, and less maintenance requirements than its predecessor the ABB IRB 6640-235/2.55. The ABB 6700-235/2.65 maintains one of the highest payloads in the 6700 series. The IRB 6700-235 utilizes the advanced ABB IRC5 controller. The ABB robot is similar in payload and reach to the FANUC R-2000iC 210F and Yaskawa MH250.
