Mitsubishi Sale Postponed

October 12, 2016

Bloomington, IL

Biditup and Maynards were set auction off the used FANUC robots that were once part of the Mitsubishi plant located outside Bloomington, Illinois on October 18, 2016 until the auction was postponed due to a pending sale of the entire plant. The plant contained various used robots that were used for spot welding, robotic welding and robotic paint applications. The auction was scheduled to have over 700 FANUC robots for sale. The majority of the robots were the FANUC R2000ia 165F with FANUC RJ3IB controller. The auction was set to contain over 400 FANUC R2000 robots, including the FANUC R2000ia 165R with RJ3IB controller, which is the rack mount version of the RJ3IB R Series robots. In addition to the large quantities of used FANUC robots for sale, there were also a few tougher to find models including the FANUC M710ic 50 with FANUC R30ia controller, FANUC R2000ib 165F with FANUC RJ3IC controller, and FANUC Arcmate 120ib with RJ3IB controller. Other models included the FANUC R-2000ia 200F with FANUC RJ3IB controller, FANUC R2000ib 210F with FANUC RJ3IC controller, and the FANUC M16i long arm with FANUC RJ3IB controller. Whenever large quantities of industrial robots for sale become available it pushes down the pricing to end user. This makes purchasing used robots even more viable. At this time it is unknown whether the auction will be rescheduled or not. More information is available on the websites for Biditup and Maynards.
