ABB IRB 6700-200/2.60

ABB IRB 6700-200/2.60 Overview

The ABB IRB 6700-200/2.60 is a high payload industrial robot that is used in spot welding and material handling applications. This ABB material handling robot is commonly found in the Foundry Plus Version allowing it to operate longer and more effeciently in tough conditions. This ABB robot has a shorter cycle time, reduced energy consumption, less maintenance requirements than its predecessor the ABB IRB 6640-205/2.75. The ABB 6700-200/2.60 has a smallest work envelope in its class. The IRB 6700-200 utilizes the advanced ABB IRC5 controller. The ABB robot is similar in payload and reach to the FANUC R-2000ib 210F and Yaskawa MH215. Additional applications in which this used ABB robot can perform include deburring, material removal, dispensing, and machine tending. Utilizing used ABB robots like the ABB IRB6700-200/2.60 in material handling application can greatly increase productivity at a fraction of the cost of a new robot.
