ABB IRB 4600-40/2.55

ABB IRB 4600-40/2.55 Overview

The ABB IRB 4600-40/2.55 is a medium payload ABB robot that has the longest reach in its class. While having a longer reach than the 45 and 60 kilogram versions, this robot does not sacrifice a large amount of payload capability. This industrial robot is used in automated machine tending, robotic deburring, and robotic pick and place applications. This ABB material handling robot is the successor to the ABB IRB 4400 40/1.95. The ABB 4600-60/2.05 has a reach of 2550 MM and a payload of 40KG. The IRB 4600 40 uses the ABB IRC5 controller. This ABB robot is similar in payload and reach to the FANUC M710ic/50, Yaskawa Motoman MH50, and KUKA KR 60-3. Additional applications in which this used ABB robot can perform include robotic assembly, material removal, and automated routing. Utilizing used ABB robots like the ABB IRB 4600 40 M2004 in dispensing applications increase productivity, reducing cycle times.
