FANUC CRX-5iA Overview
The FANUC CRX-5iA is one of FANUC’s latest collaborative robots. Building upon the success of their CR cobot series, FANUC has released a new line of collaborative robots, the CRX series. The FANUC CRX5iA features a light payload of 5 kg and a reach of 994 mm with 6 axes. The crx-5ia pairs with one of FANUC’s newest controllers, the R-30iB Mini Plus. The compact design of both the CRX/5iA and its controller allow for significant space savings. The small footprint allows for the CRX-5ia to be installed along any production line regardless of space constraints. Installation is further simplified as this cobot runs on standard 120V power.The FANUC CRX 5iA is ideal for robotic users of any experience level, especially novice users. Programming has been simplified with teach points on the cobot and the new lead through teach pendant interface. The new pendant interface allows for drag and drop programming. The FANUC CRX.5iA is also incredibly reliable with FANUC’s 8 year zero maintenance guarantee. The CRX-5/iA can operate a full 8 years before needing preventative maintenance. The FANUC CRX-5iA is ideal for automating arc welding, material handling, and material removal applications.
