FANUC SR-3iA

FANUC SR-3iA Overview

The FANUC SR-3iA is part of FANUC’s SCARA robot family. The SR3iA is designed for ultra-fast speeds and precision for maximum productivity. It features a lightweight design and compact footprint making the FANUC SR/3iA easy to install along any production line. The risk of peripheral interference is avoided with its slim profile and 360 degree work envelope.

The FANUC sr-3ia features a payload capacity of 3 kg, a horizontal reach of 400 mm, and a four-axis configuration. The SR 3iA is ideal for small scale automated assemblies, robotic packaging, pick and place, and inspection applications. Just because of its small size does not mean the FANUC sr3ia is limited to only working with small parts. Its high inertia capacity also gives the SR.3iA the ability to handle larger parts.

Other features of the FANUC SR-3i-A include integrated solenoid valves and air lines through the robotic arm, a brake release switch located on the arm for easy error recovery, and the option for wall mounting. The SR3i/A uses FANUC’s intuitive iRProgrammer which is a web-based user interface that can be accessed through a PC, tablet, or teach pendant. The FANUC sr3ia comes with the R-30iB Compact Plus controller for additional space saving.
