Yaskawa Motoman MPL100 Overview

The Yaskawa Motoman MPL100 is a high-performance robot designed specifically for robotic palletizing applications. Its five-axis configuration allows for fast axial speeds and high accelerations. Productivity rates are given a boost with the MPL-100 while cycle times are significantly reduced. Featuring a payload capacity of 100 kg and a generous vertical reach of 3,024 mm, the mpl100 is capable of palletizing tall workloads. In addition, the Yaskawa Motoman MPL/100 can service up to four pallet build locations, maximizing efficiency. This Motoman palletizing robot can also be used for robotic assembly and automated pick and place.

For those tired of dealing with unreliable palletizing equipment, the MPL.100 is your solution. Internalized air lines and cabling prevent operation interference from occurring. Cable life is also extended by routing the lines through the robot and robot arm. Maintenance is reduced while reliability is increased, allowing for consistent palletizing. The wrist of the MPL 100 is also hollow to allow for cabling to extend through to the EOAT. This wrist configuration provides a wide range of wrist motion without disruption. This articulated robot is similar in reach and payload to the FANUC R1000ia/100F.

Yaskawa’s highly intelligent DX100 controller is paired with the Mpl100. The DX100 controller allows for the upmost efficiency with the ability to control up to 8 industrial robots form a single DX100. Faster processing speeds and a touch screen pendant provide a user-friendly programming experience with the MPL100 DX100. Newer models can be paired with the DX200 controller.
