Yaskawa Motoman EPL300 Overview

The Yaskawa Motoman EPL300 NX100 is designed to automate palletizing applications. The EPL-300 is one of several robots in Motoman palletizing robot series. This robot is capable of handling payloads of up to 300 kg, making it ideal for heavy lifting tasks. The EPL/300 is configured with four axes and has a large 360-degree work envelope. Its large work envelope allows for the most effective use of space with its ability to reach behind, for the upmost efficiency. The Epl300 has one of the largest palletizing ranges in its class due to its perfectly proportioned lower and upper arm.

The EPL.300 provides incredible handling capacity with the ability to run 1,200 cycles per hour. This robot provides a palletizing capacity that is 1 to 2 times greater than conventional models. Throughput rates and productivity will see dramatic increases with this robot. This four axis robot is similar in payload capacity and reach to the FANUC M-410ib/300.

A higher capacity motor and speed reducer allow for increased inertia in the robot wrist. This increased wrist inertia makes the palletizing of larger workpieces possible with the epl300. In addition, this articulated robot can accommodate a greater variety of end-effectors, providing flexibility to users. The EPL300 is paired with Yaskawa Motoman’s NX100 controller.
